Frequently asked questions

Is the webcam mocap tool free?
Capturing and previewing motion is free with no install. You sign in with Discord to use the tool, and downloading the exported poses uses tokens (or is included with a subscription).
Does my webcam video get uploaded?
Webcam capture runs in your browser. When a pose service is enabled, the video is uploaded to our server for pose processing; otherwise detection stays in your browser.
Does the .ycd work for FiveM?
Yes. The exported .ycd is a standard GTA 5 ped animation that works in FiveM.
Do I need special mocap hardware?
No. A regular webcam is all you need to capture motion.
