Frequently asked questions
- Is the webcam mocap tool free?
- Capturing and previewing motion is free with no install. You sign in with Discord to use the tool, and downloading the exported poses uses tokens (or is included with a subscription).
- Does my webcam video get uploaded?
- Webcam capture runs in your browser. When a pose service is enabled, the video is uploaded to our server for pose processing; otherwise detection stays in your browser.
- Does the .ycd work for FiveM?
- Yes. The exported .ycd is a standard GTA 5 ped animation that works in FiveM.
- Do I need special mocap hardware?
- No. A regular webcam is all you need to capture motion.
