Vehicle YFT Optimizer
Exported a car from ZModeler and it will not spawn in FiveM? Nine times out of ten the .yft is over the game's roughly 16 MB memory limit. Drop the model.yft and model_hi.yft here and click Fix: the optimizer measures the file, reduces the mesh just enough to fit, generates missing detail levels, and rebuilds it with handling, collisions, breakable glass, dials, and the license plate untouched.
How it works
- 1Drop your model.yft, ideally together with model_hi.yft.
- 2The health check runs in your browser and measures each file's real in-game memory weight against the 16 MB limit, for free.
- 3Click Fix: the file is sent to our servers, reduced to fit and rebuilt with its detail levels, then sent back. It is deleted from our servers 15 minutes after the job finishes.
- 4Download the fixed .yft files, put them back in your resource, and spawn the car. Always check it in game before shipping.
Frequently asked questions
- Why does my FiveM car not spawn in game?
- Most often the exported .yft is too heavy. A vehicle has to fit in roughly 16 MB of game memory when loaded; above that the game refuses to spawn it or crashes. The optimizer measures your file against that limit and can fix it in one click.
- Is the optimizer free?
- Checking a car against the 16 MB limit is free and runs in your browser. Fixing an oversized car runs on our servers and costs tokens; you only pay when you download the fixed file.
- How do I fix a .yft that is over 16 MB?
- Drop it here and click Fix. The optimizer reduces the mesh detail just enough to fit under the limit, creates the missing lower detail levels, and rebuilds the file. Doors, wheels, collisions, breakable glass, the dials screen, and the license plate are carried over unchanged.
- What does the error "Invalid fixup, address is neither virtual nor physical" mean?
- The game failed to load a broken or corrupted .yft in your resource. Run the file through this optimizer: rebuilt files use a clean, game-safe layout. If the error names a different file, that file is the one to fix or remove.
- Does it work with ZModeler exports?
- Yes. Oversized ZModeler exports are the main reason cars refuse to spawn, and this tool was built for exactly those files. It also repairs flat shading on body panels that some exports carry.
- Will the car lose visual quality?
- Some. Fitting a very heavy model under the game limit means reducing mesh detail, and the tool spends the budget where it matters: smooth body panels, protected small parts, plates, and glass. For perfect quality the source model needs to be optimized in ZModeler before export.
- Does my file get uploaded?
- The health check does not upload anything; it runs entirely in your browser. When you fix a car, the .yft is uploaded to our servers to do the work, then both the upload and the result are deleted 15 minutes after the job finishes.
