YDR Animation Maker

Load a skeleton-based YDR prop, keyframe its bones on a timeline, preview the motion in 3D, and export the animation together with a registered prop package for FiveM or single-player.

How it works

  1. 1Drop a skeleton-based .ydr with an optional .ytd and existing .ycd.
  2. 2Select any bone and add translation, rotation, or scale keys on the timeline.
  3. 3Scrub or play the timeline to inspect the animation on the drawable.
  4. 4Export a raw .ycd, a FiveM resource, or a prop addon dlc.rpf.

Frequently asked questions

Which YDR files can be animated?
The drawable must contain a skeleton with bone tags. Static YDR files without a skeleton cannot receive bone animation tracks.
Are embedded textures supported?
Yes. Embedded YDR textures load automatically, and an optional external YTD overrides textures with matching names.
What is included in the FiveM download?
The resource contains the normalized YDR, optional YTD, generated YTYP, YCD, manifest, README, and commands that spawn and animate the prop.
Can I continue an existing animation?
Yes. Drop a YCD with the YDR. If it contains multiple animations, choose the clip you want to edit.
