Drop a handling.meta, load any stock GTA V vehicle as a baseline, or start from a fresh template. Adjust engine, brakes, traction and suspension values with sliders, apply drive-style presets, toggle handling and model flags by name, then download the patched handling.meta or a drop-in FiveM resource ZIP. Only the values you change are touched: the rest of your file stays byte for byte identical.

How it works

  1. 1Import a handling.meta, pick a stock vehicle from the library, or create a new entry from the template.
  2. 2Tune grouped values with sliders and numeric inputs; live stat bars show the performance profile.
  3. 3Apply a Grip, Drift, Offroad or Heavy preset and fine-tune from there.
  4. 4Download the patched handling.meta, a FiveM resource ZIP, or copy the XML.

Frequently asked questions

Does editing break the rest of my handling.meta?
No. The editor patches only the fields you change inside the entry you edit. Every other entry, comment and SubHandlingData block stays exactly as it was.
Can I use a stock vehicle's handling for my addon car?
Yes. Pick any base-game or DLC vehicle, load its original handling, rename the handling name to match the handlingId in your vehicles.meta, and export.
How do I install the exported file on a FiveM server?
Download the resource ZIP, unzip it into your server resources folder and add an ensure line for it in server.cfg. The plain handling.meta download also works inside an existing resource that declares it as a HANDLING_FILE data file.
Are boat, plane and bike specific values supported?
The editor covers the main CHandlingData values shared by all vehicles. Type-specific SubHandlingData blocks are preserved untouched, so files for boats, planes and bikes stay valid.
